A pause from posting one of my meditations to share something I read from Philip Yancey's 2013 book, The Question That Never Goes Away--Why (Zondervan, Grand Rapids, MI). On page 50, he wrote that after being in an automobile accident where he was strapped to a backboard, awaiting word on whether a major artery had been punctured (if so he would be dead in minutes), there are only three questions worth pondering.
1. Who do you love?
2. What have you done with your life?
3. Are you ready for whatever is next?
How would you answer these questions? Don't wait until you are near death, answer them now and perhaps re-align your life so that you are very clear what the answers are and you are content with them.
